Our Story

Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing is a nonprofit organization established in the early 2000’s

We receive no government funding, but depend on the public's generosity. Profits from on-going fundraising help us to continue to offer our services to the area. We promote proper veterinary care, responsible pet ownership and spaying and neutering. Our organization is run by a team of dedicated volunteers and fosters who donate their time and homes to help pets in need. Without our foster system, we would not have the capacity to help and care for so many of the area’s pets.
